Sometimes life is really hard and family can’t always make it easier but best friends can help make it a little easier. Best friends make life meaningful. They encourage you to do things, they make you happy and they let you be you. Now that I know best friends make life meaningful I can always depend on them.

One reason that best friends make life meaningful is by encouraging you to do things.  One example that shows this is every Friday we have a spelling test I knew I would do great but still a little worried so my friend said you’ll do great I and felt better. That’s why best friends make life meaningful by encouraging you to do things. One time in music we had to sing by ourselves and my friend put her thumbs and smiled and I did it. Thats why best friends make life meaningful by encouraging you to do things. Also, one time it was author's chair and I didn’t think I should share, but my best friend said you should do it you should do it, so I did it. And thats why best friends make life meaningful by saying encouraging things to help you do it.

Another reason that best friends make life meaningful is by making you happy.  For example best friends make happy by giving you hugs. One time I was not feeling good at school and my best friends said how are you feeling but treated me like I wasn’t sick and that made me feel a lot less sick and more happy. Another example that shows this is one time it was a day that nobody was happy so my mom said I could go to my friend's house because I was so sad and she makes me happy by being funny and making me laugh. So thats why best friends make life meaningful by making you happy.

Last reason that best friends make life meaningful is by letting you be you.  For instance best friends let you be you by not trying to force you to do things you think are scary. Best friends let you be you by letting you be as creative as you want. Best friends let you be you by enjoying the way you are.  Also I remember that an old friend didn’t really let me be me,  but when I met my current best friends they let me be me by letting me wear what I want to wear, and letting me do what I want to do.  Thats why best friends make life meaningful by letting you be who you want to be.     

I realize that when I make my best friends lives meaningful I feel happy because I’m helping my best friends, they help me too. I bet they get happy when they help make my life meaningful, and when we make are best friends life meaningful were doing something meaningful.
